Plan Academy is a growing online training company that helps large-scale construction & engineering companies worldwide improve their project management abilities. Plan Academy’s online video courses on construction project management are well-received around the globe and our membership site helps companies and individuals when they are stuck.

Plan Academy is looking for a Learning Support Specialist with project controls experience to help our customers have an incredible experience learning with us.

 

  • Are you a project scheduler or project coordinator with a desire to help others learn, grow and succeed?
  • Are you helpful and resourceful?
  • Do you have solid experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6?
  • Are you a natural coach?
  • Do you enjoy sharing your experience with others?
  • Are you super with software?
  • Are you resourceful and self-sufficient?

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reach out to learners regularly over the phone, through email and live chat
  • Answer learner questions around Primavera P6, project scheduling & project controls
  • Help learners gain exceptional value from our training courses
  • Onboard and train new customers on our learning platform
  • Build strong relationships with customers and become their “go-to” person
  • Lead our online Community by engaging with customers and providing helpful resources
  • Create and update customer success guides to standardize and optimize our processes
  • Analyze learner needs and focus on customer retention
  • Help plan, manage and execute customer success initiatives
  • Be knowledgeable of Plan Academy courses and our platform as they evolve
  • Track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports
  • Reduce revenue churn
  • Devise solutions to any and all problems that arise and find creative ways to delight customers
  • Contribute to the overall growth of the company by…..

This job might be for you if you:

  • Have a 2+ years working as project scheduler or planner
  • Have solid experience with Primavera P6 software
  • You have completed a university degree or college diploma
  • You have exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • You are a natural at connecting with others and have excellent phone skills
  • You pay strong attention to detail
  • You are an active listener who practices empathy
  • Connecting with people is second nature to you
  • You are very organized and able to efficiently manage many tasks
  • You are confident in handling difficult situations and conversations
  • You love working with software and are a very adept with technology
  • You have a strong desire to see customers succeed and are willing to go beyond customer expectations

A few of the tools we use on a daily basis include LinkedIn, WordPress, Excel, Slack, Hubspot and Google Suite.

 

Bonus if:

  • Live in the Greater Toronto Area and can work occasionally in our Hamilton, ON office
