You've learnt the basics, now it's time to get into Resources and Costs. This video lesson will teach you how to progress Resource and Cost-loaded Activities in Primavera P6. This process is a bit more involved, but it's also more common.
Up to his point in our activity progressing course we’ve seen some very straightforward examples of how to progress activities, starting with this lesson we’ll move into slightly more complex scenarios but also ones that are much more common.
In this lesson we’ll show you how to progress resource and cost loaded activities welcome to it is good for this lesson referred to a resource and cost loaded activity, let’s get to it.
Here’s the agenda for this lesson, when I refer to a resource and cost loaded activity, here’s what I’m referring to specifically, our activities will have resources assigned, those resources will also have hourly rates so we’ll have costs associated with those resources, additionally we’ll also be working with expenses, these are additional costs that we can assign to an activity and we find them on the expenses tab.
We’ll start by progressing such an activity to completion and then we’ll also show you how to progress an activity that remains in progress, it’s not quite complete as we did with previous lessons we’ll start by progressing our activities to completion.
