Oracle's Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) is a robust and easy-to-use web-based project and portfolio management tool. Like the well-known Primavera P6 Professional (also known as "the windows version"), Primavera P6 EPPM is the same CPM scheduling engine with a whole new look and lots of new features.

In the last session, we looked at dashboards, one of the key sections in P6. As we are in here, we have three other sections: Portfolios, Projects, and Resources. I’d like you to click projects. Each section has a number of pages. You would see the EPS page equality with the activities for projects, issues, risks, and so on. By selecting a project, we can see a series of tabs at the bottom of the screen. If you click on the General tab, you will see high level information for that particular project. This idea is no different than professionally by selecting a project or activity or pre structure element. We’ll see a series of tabs for that particular item that you have selected. Minimize the tabs by clicking the minimize button just here.
By selecting the Activities page, I would jump to activities for that particular project. Now I can see here, I’ve got the project open. If you don’t have a project open, you’ll be asked to open a project. Once the project is opened, I need you to open the view so we can all see the data in the same format. The View name we need to use in this example is Gantt Chart by WBS. One the view is opened, click the on the Activity table, Preconstruction Start. Similar data with data existing within P6 professional by selecting any activity or milestone, you get tabs appear at the bot...
