This lesson will take you through some of the many personal settings available to you on the My Preferences screen in P6 EPPM.

Like the well-known Primavera P6 Professional (also known as "the windows version"), Primavera P6 EPPM is the same CPM scheduling engine with a whole new look and lots of new features.

Lastly in this chapter, we’ll look at my preferences. When a new user will come to setup, nobody buy central P6 administration or IT. Various settings are established such as the user’s global security profile and what EPS knows that we’ll be able to access. What process that’s not established is the new surroundings that we will see various data sets. P6 professional users will notice that users preferences. In EPPM, this is now known as my preferences. So firstly, I’d like to make sure that you got the ABC Construction project open again and click on the Activities page. Once you’ve done that, if you go ahead and click on the administer pull down and select My Preferences. Let’s take a look at the most commonly used option we have here - currency. The basic currency is set by the system administrator but if you work in a different currency, this can be selected here by clicking on the three and double clicking the selection you require. I’m going to select the Great British Pound. Underneath that we have some options for how the currency is shown on screen, decimal places or whether to include a symbol.
