Oracle's Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) is a robust and easy-to-use web-based project and portfolio management tool. Like the well-known Primavera P6 Professional (also known as "the windows version"), Primavera P6 EPPM is the same CPM scheduling engine with a whole new look and lots of new features.

Welcome back. In this lesson, we’re going to have a look at Work Breakdown Structure how to view, amend, and create one.
A WBS or Work Breakdown Structure can have many functions within and externally to P6. Traditionally, WBS is a natural grouping of work on a project. To explain this in more detail, let’s open up the ABC Construction project. To do that, click on the project section pull down followed by the open project link. If you have any project open, close them all by clicking on the close arrow in the middle of the screen or by double clicking. Then we want to open up the ABC Construction project which can be found in the enterprise project structure. Click OK once you’ve done that. Once the project is open, and you can see that in the folder icon just here, click on the activities page link. If you view this in P6 Professional, you’ll notice that so far, everything looks similar and got activities able at the Gantt Chart. However, in EPPM we have no WBS page as all WBS actions are performed in this activities page. Let’s see exactly what we mean by that. I’m going to show you P6 Professional.
