Before we get started in this lesson, go ahead and open the project shown here so you can follow along. In this lesson, we're gonna create a view specifically for updating the schedule. Now updating the schedule is something you do on such a repetitive and continuous basis, and it makes good sense to have a view set up just for that purpose. So what we're gonna do is create a view and we'll go into the views drop-down list followed by manage views.

Okay, so we'll copy one to start with, and I'm just gonna select the baseline one that I currently have active. I'm gonna copy it and then I'm gonna paste it in the global area. Okay, I'll double click on it so I can rename it. And I'm gonna call it the shuttle update view. Press Enter. Okay, so I don't wanna have the baseline information in for my updates. So I'm gonna double click on them to remove them from the selected columns. Selecting them individually, like so I can move them back across. Okay, so what else do I need to have? I'd like to update the expected finished date in there. I can use that to input the data on when we're gonna finish activities. I also want the physical percent complete.

Once I've done that, I'll click apply. And we'll go back to the activities page. Okay, once back there I'm gonna save the view. And I'll just expand it so I can see the information. I'll get rid of the Gantt chart...
