All right, welcome back. So now, we talked about planning and scheduling, why we need them, the importance, and all that kind of stuff. Now, we're going to conclude that subject with a few myths and misconceptions on scheduling.

First one, I should get a very accurate schedule. I bought the most expensive software in the market. Well, just because you paid lot for the software, and just because you bought the best computers, it doesn't mean that you're going to get the best results. Computer specialists have a funny term, they call it GIGO, garbage in garbage out. So, if the information fed into the computer, the information, the durations, the logic that you enter in a computer is not accurate, then you're going to get beautiful schedules, but they're not accurate. So, the quality depends on, as we spoke before, about the tripod, the humans, the technology, and the management, and not how much you paid for that.

The second misconception, I hired a computer specialist to handle Primavera. In fact, this one I remember vividly. In the mid '90s, I was a young professor at Georgia Southern University, and I wanted to make, you know, extra money by having seminars.
