Here we're going to look at the various ways of filtering out the data from the created and updated schedule that was done previously. You'll be taken through two options before switching to the classic view to produce reports. After this lesson you'll be able to create your own printouts and more.

Before we get started in this lesson, go ahead and open the project shown here so you can follow along.

So, we've spent quite a bit of time in creating and updating the schedule. We're gonna have a look in this lesson at the different ways of getting the data out. If you've used P6 Professional before, you'll notice that we are limited in what we can do in the HTML view. So, we're gonna have a look at one or two of the options before switching across to the classic view or the Java view to see what we've got there.

So, first of all, a button which is really useful, and that's this one here, the ability to save the file to a PDF. So, I'm gonna click on that. Okay. This is what we've got. We've got available columns on the left hand side and the columns we've currently got in view on the right. We can play around with the timeline, from and to. And then we've got things like the paper sizes, so I'm going to set it to A3. I can change it to landscape. I can change the margins if I want so I can put the numbers over the left and right hand side to give it a little of a border. I'll do the same with the top and bottom as well. Lastly, the advanced tab.

In here, I can determine what appears in the header on the left hand side, page numbers, dates, same for the center and the right hand side as well. Also got the options for the filters. And if I want ...
