Hello and welcome to a lesson on what's new in Primavera P6 EPPM v17.7. So, the main thing really is that more screens are in HTML5 making it faster, it's a better performance, it's a better experience for the user. And, as you can see from our screen here, we've got a lot more functionality and a lot more of the pages that have now become HTML5 enabled. Some of the ones personally from an administration point of view is the movement of the administration from the dropdown list into a tab, it just feels a lot nicer we'll have a look at that in the tool.

The ability to import and export views from the activities, that's a huge one. So, in P6 Professional users have been able to export and import layouts for a while. Our views in P6 Web, this is quite a new one so we can have a look at that. Two of the views around viewing logic...the trace logic and the activity network now both HTML5 enabled, we've got the documents viewer and the assignments page including resource allocation and analysis now HTML.

So, a lot more of it's moving, and I know from personal experience interacting with Java has been problematic in terms of versioning certainly across larger organizations where people are interacting with different laptops, different desktops it can really be quite painful.
