Virginia Tech Students Learn P6 From Plan Academy

Dr. Jesus M. de la Garza has been teaching engineering at Virginia Tech for over 28 years and his dedication to his craft shows through. He is a multi-award winner for his excellence in teaching, service and in research, and he was recently featured on TEDx for his talk titled “America’s Lifelines”.

Dr. de la Garza wanted to offer his CEE 4024-Construction Control Techniques students a strong foundation in project planning software. He chose Plan Acadamy’s online Primavera P6 training for his class of 90 students.

“I had a few in-house made videos on using Primavera P6, but it wasn’t complete enough for my project controls class. And the software was always being updated. Plan Academy’s online video training filled the gap to help students understand how planning & scheduling works in the real world.”

“Plan Academy’s online video training is professional and well-adapted to students at any level. My students appreciated the in-depth topics and completeness of the Primavera P6 curriculum. I would highly recommend Plan Academy to aspiring engineers.”

Working in partnership with Virginia Tech and Dr. de la Garza, Plan Academy is helping to train the next generation of professional engineers and project controls professionals.
