This course combines pre-recorded video lessons & live sessions. Lessons become available on specific days of the course. Live sessions are held using an online meeting tool.
The course is spread over 2 weeks, with each lesson focusing on a forensic analysis technique. Each lesson also builds on the last one and helps to you see the big picture. There’s a homework assignment to complete with each lesson. Students complete perform a forensic analysis on our case study project and present their solutions live to the class.

Meet Dr. Jesus de la Garza, Ph.D., Dist.M.ASCE, F.CMAA, NAC, F.PMCOS
Jesus M. de la Garza is the holder of the Vecellio Endowed Professorship in Construction Engineering and Management at Virginia Tech. Dr. de la Garza is a Distinguished Member of ASCE and has been inducted into the National Academy of Construction. Dr. de la Garza is the Editor-in-Chief for ASCE’s Journal of Construction Engineering and Management. He has served as Director of the Civil Infrastructure Systems program at the National Science Foundation.
His research is organized in three tracks, namely, Project Controls, Information Technology for Construction Management, and Infrastructure Asset Management. He has co-authored ninety-two (92) papers in refereed publications.

Yes. You must have experience in building and managing CPM schedules. It is essential to know how to perform CPM scheduling calculations manually without software. This course is not for beginners to project controls, but for professionals who have minimum 2 years of experience in project controls. If you are a beginner in project controls, contact us about other training courses that are a better fit for your experience.“How do I watch the lesson videos?”
The lesson recordings will be available to your through PlanAcademy.com. You will be set up with an account after your register.
