Primavera doesn’t have a feature to split a planned activity. It does have “Suspend” and “Resume” fields for statusing an activity with a break in the middle. But as for splitting planned activities in Oracle Primavera, we have to get creative to make it happen.
One way to split an activity is using User Defined Fields to display the split on the Gantt Chart. I’m using a special Gantt bar – the User Dates bar which can display a bar from 2 user defined dates fields.
There are pros and cons to this approach. The pros are obvious – you get a planned activity on the Gantt with split dates that are easy to set from the activity list and not buried in a calendar. The approach takes just a few clicks to set up. However, on the con side,…..we’ll you’ll just have to watch the video to find out <grin>.

And how will take out this, if I want to no put. I can’t delete the dates…
@lulian,
You can either uncheck that Bar and it won’t be displayed on the gantt, or you can simply change the “Timescale” of that bar and the user dates will vanish.
I have imported the same project and layout in my Primavera P6 but surprised that activities are not spilted. I have not yet seen the video because that is not playing in my computer
I want make a summary sheet of all 15 th Projects in Primavera (P6) in drawings or documents separately, like as graph . is it possible ? If yes then how?
