What is a KPI [in under 100 words]
How do you know if your car is performing well? I’m assuming one would monitor the dashboard – tracking gas level, oil and engine lights, speed etc. Just like that, a KPI is a metric that helps you track whether you’re going to reach your targeted goal. KPI stands for Key Performance Indicator. It helps you determine if a project is succeeding or failing, and if the goal will be met. KPIs are a road map to determine if the right decisions and direction is being pursued and if a detour is needed.
